What is LipSense?

LipSense is SeneGences' flagship product. It's a long lasting lipstick (not stain) that bonds to your lips for 4-18 hours (depending on pH & medications). It is applied in 3 thin layers, wait for it to dry for a few seconds between layers, then sealed with our Gloss.

The picture above walks you through how to apply the LipSense. You'll want to apply in one direction, if you swipe back-and-forth the color will come off. Keep your mouth open the entire time until you seal with the glossy. LipSense consists of a patented natural color and SD40 Cosmetic grade alcohol. If your lips are dry, you'll get a little tingle when you first start using LipSense. Between the SD40 alcohol riding your lips of bacteria and the mixture of Shea Butter and Vitamin E in the Gloss, after a few days your lips will feel amazing! The SD40 alcohol ensures you won't have any bacteria growth in your LipSense tube, ensures thin layers when applying, and it will dry quickly (only a few seconds).

If you regularly wear other products that contain wax (pretty much all other lipstick or chapsticks) you'll go through an exfoliation process. What this means is as you wear LipSense, which doesn't contain wax and apply glossy (hydrating your lips) the wax and skin build up on your lips will start to naturally sloughing off. After this process your lips will feel incredible and you won't feel like you need to put products on your lips for hydration. During the exfoliation process your LipSense will stay on for at least least 4 hours, which is amazing! As your lips get healthier and the wax is sloughed off that's when you'll experience how long LipSense can stay on! If you do experience your color coming off in your waterline you can dry-off your lips and re-apply the color, then re-seal with the glossy.

When you first start to use LipSense I recommend a lighter or more neutral color, that way you can exfoliate and get used to the product, then move to the bolder colors when the LipSense is lasting all day and night ;-).

Ooops remover should be used for fixing mistakes and removing the product. You apply it like gloss, let it set for 2 minutes, then wipe lipstick off with a wet cotton round. You may need to do this 3 times as you put the color on 3 times and the Ooops is breaking the bond to your lips.
